As the Muslim population increases in Europe and they cease to be a minority they will use the political freedom they enjoy in their adopted countries to impose non-democratic Islamic law, Sharia. It's already happening in Great Britain.
From the Telegraph
'Islamic clerics do not believe in a society in which Islam is one religion among others in a society ruled by basically non-religious laws. They believe it must be the dominant religion - and it is their aim to achieve this.
"That is why they do not believe in integration. In 1980, the Islamic Council of Europe laid out their strategy for the future - and the fundamental rule was never dilute your presence. That is to say, do not integrate.
"Rather, concentrate Muslim presence in a particular area until you are a majority in that area, so that the institutions of the local community come to reflect Islamic structures. The education system will be Islamic, the shops will serve only halal food, there will be no advertisements showing naked or semi-naked women, and so on."
That plan, says Dr Sookhdeo, is being followed in Britain. "That is why you are seeing areas which are now almost totally Muslim. The next step will be pushing the Government to recognise sharia law for Muslim communities - which will be backed up by the claim that it is "racist" or "Islamophobic" or "violating the rights of Muslims" to deny them sharia law.
"There's already a Sharia Law Council for the UK. The Government has already started making concessions: it has changed the law so that there are sharia-compliant mortgages and sharia pensions.
Once Sharia gains a legal foothold, this is the next step, from Alertnet.
In papers filed at the Supreme Court, the Kano state government is seeking an order to stop the federal government from interfering with Hisbah, a volunteer force whose members enforce Sharia law in the state.
Kano is one of 12 mainly Muslim northern states that in 2000 reintroduced the Islamic Sharia criminal code, which had been discarded during colonial rule under Britain.
The decision has alienated Christian minorities in those states. Kano was one of many flashpoints of inter-religious violence which has killed thousands of people in Nigeria in the last six years.
Nigeria, Africa's most populous country with 140 million people, is split about equally between Muslims and Christians. Religious violence in the north often sparks reprisal killings in the mainly Christian south, and vice versa.
Hisbah committees, who arrest and detain suspects, sometimes use violence to enforce Sharia rules. They recently clashed with motorcycle taxi riders caught carrying women passengers, in breach of new Sharia-compatible public transport regulations.
Hisbah volunteers also enforce alcohol bans across the 12 Sharia states, in the face of opposition from Christian minorities.
The choice for non-Muslims becomes clear. Either adopt Islam or fight, there is no other way and it is not pretty. I would like to say that I think the Christian's in Nigeria should turn the other cheek, both in deference to their religious principles and for the sake of peace. Unfortunately, the Islamo-fascists do not want peace, and view any non-violent response as weakness. The only choice is to adopt Islam or fight.
A horrific story from Nigeria:
Anti-Muslim Riot in Nigeria Turns Deadly
Christian mobs rampaged through a southern Nigerian city Tuesday, burning mosques and killing several people in an outbreak of anti-Muslim violence that followed deadly protests against caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad over the weekend.
Residents and witnesses in the southern, predominantly Christian city of Onitsha said several Muslims with origins in the north were beaten to death by mobs which also burned two mosques there.
"The mosque at the main market has been burnt and I've counted at least six dead bodies on the streets," Izzy Uzor, an Onitsha resident and businessman, told The Associated Press by telephone. "The whole town is in a frenzy and people are running in all directions."
The violence appeared to be in reprisal for anti-Christian violence Saturday in the mostly Muslim northern city of Maiduguri in which thousands of Muslims protesting caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad attacked Christians and burned churches, killing at least 18 people.
Another Onitsha resident, Isotonu Achor, said one badly beaten Muslim man ran into his office from the streets to escape the violence.
"There is blood all over him and I'm scared they'll come for him here. If he doesn't get urgent treatment he will die," Achor said.
Police and government officials were not immediately available for comment.
Nigeria, Africa's most populous country of more than 130 million people, is roughly divided between a predominantly Muslim north and a mainly Christian south. Thousands of people have died in religious violence in Nigeria since 2000.
Saturday's protest over the cartoons of Prophet Muhammad in Maiduguri marked the first violent demonstrations over the issue in Nigeria. Police say at least 18 people, most of them Christians, died, and 30 churches were burned down. The Christian Association of Nigeria said at least 50 people were killed in the violence.
