There are no elections in Cuba
Cartoon from Latin American Studies
Contrary to the propaganda from Cuba, and the shameful complicity of the MSM, there are no real elections in Cuba. There is one party, and one candidate for each position so how can this farce be called an election when the only choice is to vote for a pre-approved, pre-selected winner. In the days to follow expect more stories glorifying how open the elections were, and the large voter turnout, stories that are deliberate fabrications, because it is a documented fact that Cuba's "elections" are not free by international standards, and Cuba has never allowed international or domestic observers to monitor either the municipal or parliamentary "elections." The MSM also will neglect to report that government thugs intimidate voters in Cuba.
Gusano has more.

What you failed to mention is that the right wing FOX NEWS also did a story on these "elections" as if it were a regular good ol' democratic election.....CUBANS ARE ALONE IN THIS BATTLE AGAINST THESE CRIMINALS

Western United, Fox, while "more fair & balanced" is part of the MSM, I've never said otherwise.
