Dr. Ferrer is being held at the Valle Grande prison outside Havana, he is being accused of "illegally pruchasing" construction materials in the black market. More here, and en español, here.
The Real Cuba reports that Dr. Darsi Ferrer was arrested again Tuesday. His wife, Yúsnaimi Jorge Soca, said that the police told Darsi that they needed to talk to him about things that they allegedly found in his home, when he was previously arrested and beaten by eight police officers on July 9.
One of the thugs who took part in that beating was also involved in Tuesday´s arrest of Dr. Ferrer.
Considering the stuff that has gone on in Cuba for the past fifty years I still do not understand why many in the U.S. love the regime there.
