Readers- I will be out of town visiting family and mostly away from a computer for the next five days. I'll try to keep abreast of events and post, but I'm not sure how much computer time I will have. In my absence, please enjoy the great writing at my linked blogs.
Enjoy your family, that is what it is all about - I think that is what God intends for us in this time of year, whether you call it Chrismas, Hannukah, or Holiday (Holy Day, after all) - let's think of those less fortunate, and those who are kept away from their families and friends due to the whims of tyrants who know nothing about such things.
Season's greetings and best wishes from a blog-brother!

Thanks gentlemen, I'm having a great time although I am freezing! My daughter is a first grade teacher and tonight we went to the Christmas program. This is the first one of these I have been to since my own children were little. Oh my, I will say what they lacked in talent they made up for with spirit and a good time was had by all.
